The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Jos Buttler, Wanindu Hasaranga, Mitchell Marsh and Mohammad Rizwan as the four nominees for the Men’s T20 Cricket of the Year Award.

Muhammad Rizwan achievements

1. Muhammad Rizwan set new T20 records in 2021. He finished the year with an aggregate of 2036 runs in T20s to become the first and only batter with 2000 T20 runs in one calendar year. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

2. Muhammad Rizwan scored 1326 runs in T20I and became the first and only batter to breach the 1000-run mark in a calendar year in T20Is. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

3. Muhammad Rizwan sets a record for 13 T20I fifty-plus runs in one calender year.

4. Rizwan started the year with nine successive 40-plus scores across T20Is and PSL. He also had seven consecutive innings of 30-plus runs in T20Is, a streak that ended in the T20 World Cup.
